Rumi's Love Poems

Watercolour and Collage

20 x 16 inches

The Original of this painting has sold.

This painting was done after a visit to the most beautiful and spiritual garden nestled in the hills of Kilternan on the road to Enniskerry near my home in Dublin.  It is a tiny place but the power of the spiritual energy I found here inspired me to paint a series of garden landscapes.  While I was in Knockrose Garden, I felt that I had come home.  I worked here for several months both teaching workshops, painting, and held an exhibition here with my husband (his first) called "Scents of  Harmony".  The poem that I collaged into the painting is from Rumi.
